Peggy Dueker

Peggy June Dueker, age 68, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Goodman, Missouri, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, after a recent battle with cancer. She entered this life on June 6, 1957, in Neosho, Missouri, the second of four children born to the late Delmer Lee and Beatrice June (Crosby) Tosh.

She was raised in Goodman, Missouri and was a 1975 graduate of Neosho High School. For 25 years she worked at Tyson Foods in Neosho, Missouri. Following her tenure at Tyson, Peggy began working for BKB Gold Stamp in Anderson where she would remain until her retirement.






 

Peggy's life was rich with interests and passions. She was a talented craftswoman, finding joy in crocheting and quilting, creating beautiful pieces that her family will treasure forever. An avid fan of westerns, she could often be found enjoying her favorite films, a pastime that provided her with much relaxation and happiness. Peggy's love for the St. Louis Cardinals was well-known among her friends and family, and she celebrated each game with enthusiasm and team spirit. Her garden was a sanctuary for the hummingbirds she adored, and she spent countless hours ensuring it was a welcoming haven for these delicate creatures.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Donald Dueker of the home; three sons, William Dueker and wife, Megan, of Goodman, Missouri, Richard “Rick” Dueker of Fair Grove, Missouri and Donald Ray Dueker also of Fair Grove; a daughter-in-law, Mona Dueker of Fair Grove; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, David Tosh and wife, Tammy and Richard Tosh and wife, Pam, all of Goodman; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Harvey Tosh.

Memorial services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Banner Church with Pastor Ronnie Tosh officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
