Patty Alexander

Patty Lou (Dazey) Alexander, passed away on the 3rd of November, 2025, in Carthage, Missouri. She entered this world on Christmas Day in 1937 in Savannah, Missouri, the youngest child of the late Edna Mae (Eaton) Dazey and Edgar Perry Dazey.

Throughout her 87 years of life, Patty's loving spirit shaped the lives around her. After graduating, Patty became a cherished member of the McDonald County community, dedicating many years of hard work at Hudson Foods and Tyson Foods until her retirement. Her commitment to her career was matched by her devotion to her family and friends; she was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend.








Patty's faith was a beacon that illuminated every aspect of her life. A devout believer in Jehovah God and His promise of the resurrection, Patty lived her life looking forward to the day she would be reunited with her loved ones for eternity. This unwavering faith made her an example of hope and love to those around her. Patty was blessed with a large and loving family. 

She is survived by her siblings, Edgar Perry Dazey Jr., of the United Kingdom, Robert Dazey, of Carnell, California, Mary Dazey, of Stewartsville, Missouri, and John Dazey, of Kansas City, Missouri; Her children, William Jones, Dennis Jones, Kathleen McBride (Dewayne); seven grandchildren, Dewayne and Tyler McBride, Mason and Noah Shelley, Chase Jones, Daniel Jones Macmahan, and Desiree Jones; five great-granddaughters, Emily, Klancy, Laney, Annabelle, and Jenny; great grandson, Lucas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sons, Bruce and Tommy Jones. She was an avid reader and master of the crossword puzzle. She was also a wonderful cook and baker. Beyond the kitchen, Patty's musical talent was a gift she shared joyfully, often playing the piano at nursing homes to the delight of residents. Known for being faith-filled, kind, and loving, Patty led a life marked by compassion and grace. While her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, the memories and lessons she imparted will continue to live on.
