August 31, 1957 - September 13, 2017
Bonnie 'Marlene' Hansen, age 60, Joplin MO, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, after a brief battle with breast cancer. Bonnie was born at McPherson KS but then grew up in Joplin and was a graduate of Parkwood High School.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Hansen, and two brothers, Robert Hansen II and Terry Hansen.
Marlene is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly Woodard of Pittsburg KS, Stevanie Martin of Joplin MO, and Kaitlynne Wilson of Joplin MO. Also surviving is her, mother, Marie Hansen of Joplin, three sisters, Helen Hunnicutt of Cornielia GA, Darla Hansen of Joplin MO and Levonna Hansen of Joplin MO and one brother Bruce Hansen of Joplin MO. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was a homemaker for many years raising her girls. But then she delivered for Joplin's Pizza Hut for many years in the 80s and 90s and never met a stranger. Her smile and wit were something to never forget. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Please join the family in celebrating her life this Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
