Kim Alan Laughlin, age 62, Mt. Vernon, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Lawrence County Manor, in Mt. Vernon.
He was born February 10, 1956 in Joplin to the late Larry J. Laughlin and Carolyn Kenney Sullivan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Larry E. Laughlin; and one grandson, Noah Stark.
He worked in the maintenance department for several local trucking companies.
Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Laughlin, Seneca, Missouri, Shannon Stark and husband, Jeremy, League City, Texas, Lyndsey Cross and husband, Joshua, Joplin; twelve grandchildren, Dakota Gilbert, Austin Wood, Chase and Emma Laughlin, Taylor, Isaiah, Joshua, Elijah, Luke Stark, Alan and Levi Barnum, Caleb Cross; one great grandchild, one brother, Michael Laughlin and wife Renee, Joplin; and one sister, Bobbi Bateman, Joplin.
Memorial services are planned for a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
