(From Simpson Funeral Home)Dixie Lee Crow age 78 of Carterville, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital. She was born in Waterloo, Iowa on November 6, 1942 to Arnold Crow and Gracie (Short) Crow.
Dixie attended Liberty Baptist Church in Webb City and was a waitress for many years at Red Lobster. She was a graduate of Carterville High School in the class of 1961.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Rex Dallas Crow and Joseph David Crow; and a sister, Sharon Kay Crow.
She is survived by her son, Steve Crow of Joplin; grandchildren, Amanda Crow of Webb City, Candra Crow of Joplin, Dalton Crow of Oklahoma City, Davin Crow of Columbus, Kansas; and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. The family will be present for visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow services in Carterville Cemetery.
