(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Gail Ann (Green) Schmitt, age 65, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born born in Joplin on November 23, 1955, to Billy R. and Anna M. Green.
Gail loved the outdoors, drawing, helping others, and her family more than anything. She was a devoted mom, mama, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Gail was preceded in death by her father, mother, and her husband, Tony Schmitt.
She is survived by her two daughters, Shannan English of Joplin and Hollie Sterling of Webb City; five grandchildren, Kylie Bach, Kayla Bach, Nakota Bach, Alyx Jones and Logan Sterling; two great-grandchildren, Callie Bach and Harper Bach; two sisters, Diana Atkinson of Galena, Kansas, and Norma Landers (Steve) of Oronogo; two brothers, Billy Green (Kim) of Joplin, Ricky Green (Delores) of Webb
City; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved pup, Veronica and grandpups, Peaches and Titan.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
