(From Clark Funeral Home)Gertie Malinda “Linda” Friend, 72, Granby, MO entered into rest December 15, 2020. Linda was born July 30, 1948 in Aroma, MO to Goldie (Carterman) and Henry Clouse. She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and gardening, as well as hummingbirds and her grandkids. Linda and Lloyd Friend were married October 26, 1965 in Neosho, MO.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Lloyd, of the home; four children, Robin Friend of Williamston, MI, Susan McEvers of Granby, MO, Greg Friend and fiancé, Crystal Gravener of Eagle Lake, TX, and Matt Friend and wife, Celia of Granby; two brothers, Cy Clouse and wife, Peggy of Diamond, MO and Danny Bush and wife, Sally of Granby; two sisters, Delores Eutsler and husband Richard of Granby and Clarene Crittenden and husband, Richard of Pryor, OK; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and four sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Granby Memorial Cemetery, Granby, MO with Pastor Ira McKinney officiating.

Honoring Linda by serving as pallbearers will be Wes McEvers, Adam Tanner, Tyler Tanner, Lucas McEvers, Grant Friend, Adan Bryant, and Isaac Friend.
The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, December 20 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel, Granby, MO.
