(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Michelle Grace “Micki” Sneden, age 33, of Joplin, passed away on Friday December 11, 2020, at her parent’s home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Micki was born on August 16, 1987 in Chillicothe, MO, the daughter of George and Bonnie (Champlin) Shivley. She has been a lifelong area resident.
She worked as a waitress for the Rib Crib. She attended the Webb City church of the Nazarene. Micki loved animals, especially her three cats. She enjoyed painting pictures. She never met a stranger and had an ability to talk to just anyone. Her bright smile and friendly personality will be greatly missed.
Micki is survived by her parents, George and Bonnie Shivley, Joplin; her sister, Jessica Shelten and husband Josh, of South Haven, MS; her brother, Josiah Shivley; Carl Junction, MO; her nieces, Kati Angel, and Lexi, Zoey and Bella Shelten; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Carl Junction Cemetery, Carl Junction, MO. Pastor Roger Flint will officiate. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary, prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Joplin Humane Society, Watered Gardens, or the American Cancer Society.
