Lesa Boyer

Lesa Mae Boyer, 51, Seneca, MO passed away June 26, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO after a sudden illness.

Lesa Mae Davis was born May 4, 1970 in Miami, OK the daughter of Barbara Ann Arnold. Lesa had lived in the area all her life. She was a 1988 graduate of Miami High School. 

Lesa was an outgoing person who was always willing to help those in need. She was a 4H Coordinator, Shooting Sports Leader, Busy Body Pig 4H leader and assisted the Seneca FFA organization. Lesa served as a Board Member of the Seneca Area Chamber of Commerce.

 

She organized and ran the car show during the Seneca Chamber’s Celebrating Our Freedom. Lesa worked for South West Missouri Bank in the appraisal department and volunteered with the SMB New Comers Club. Lesa was a member of Racine Christian Church and often served with church ministries.

Lesa Mae Davis married Roger Boyer August 8, 1987 in Miami, OK and he survives.

Additional survivors include one son, Grayson Boyer; her mother, Barbara Ann Arnold and a host of extended family, friends and church family.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, July 9, 2021 at the Racine Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Racine Christian Church with Kevin Klein officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Ed Brodrick, Randal Ritter, Calvin Woodridge, Levi Evans, Tony Weaver and Josh Dodson serving as pallbearers.
