Pete Peters

Richard ‘Pete’ Peters, was born April 3, 1951 in Ransom, Kansas, the son of Antone and Ruby (McGarth) Peters. Pete attended school at McCraken, Kansas. He moved to the area in 1987 from Kansas and worked at Sunbeam and then at Americold Logistics where he retired. 

He enjoyed working on cars, mowers and anything he could fix. He loved tractor pulls, reading books, wrestling and watching the news. 








Pete met his lovely wife, Gailia and the two were married on December 28, 1991 in Bentonville, Arkansas and she survives. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lesa (Mark) Samuels of West Plains and Ruby Peters of Fairview; one son, Petey (Emily) Peters of Granby; one stepdaughter, Lori Crow of Talequah, Oklahoma and one stepson, Nathan (Leanna) Jackson of Joplin; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren with one on the way; five step great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren; two brothers, Michael of Bransom, Kansas and Albert (Roberta) Peters of Salina, Kansas and one sister, Dixie Lee Daly of Blue Jay, Missouri. 

 He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Colleen Webster and Betty Lucas, three brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law.
