Lytha Dikeman

Lytha Nadine Dikeman, 82, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away January 14, 2024 at Maple Tree Terrance in Carthage, Missouri.

Lytha was born on July 13, 1941 to Lloyd Coy, Sr. and Nadine (Elkins) Coy. She was a 1959 graduate of Sarcoxie High School. After graduation she joined the Navy, where set met and married her husband, James Dikeman in 1963. They enjoyed forty years together until his passing in 2003.







After leaving the Navy they settled in Norfolk, Virginia and Lytha went to work for the City of Norfolk, Virginia in the commissioner’s office. She retired as a Chief Deputy 1, in the commissioner’s office after thirty-five years of dedicated service.

She is survived by her siblings, Lloyd Coy of Sarcoxie, Mike Coy of Pierce City and Kathy Lombard, also of Pierce City; special friends, Don and Kathy Brown; as well as a host of other family and friends.

It was Lytha wish to be cremated. Inurnment with full military honors will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
