Tamara Beckham

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

Tamara Kay Beckham, a supportive and loving beacon of her family and community, departed this life on May 7, 2024 in Springfield. Born on April 21, 1973, in Joplin, Tamara was a radiant soul whose light touched everyone she encountered. She was a devoted wife, an extraordinary mother, a cherished daughter, and a loyal sister. Her high-spirited energy, unwavering faith, and unique ability to bring joy to every situation will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Tamara's journey in life was fueled by an earnest desire to be a pillar of strength for her family. In her role as a dental hygienist right out of college, she was recognized for her skill and dedication for over a decade.

A long-time resident of Carl Junction, Tamara also contributed to the family business, Beckham Machine and Fabrication. She was a faithful member of Christ's Church of Oronogo, where her faith found a home and grew. Tamara found profound joy in the simple acts of caring for her loved ones. Whether it was raising her boys, Ari and Eli, supporting her husband, Terry Beckham II, or helping with parties and sports games, Tamara was there with a supportive hand and a loving heart.

Tamara is survived by her husband, Terry Beckham II; her sons, Ari (girlfriend Tory Snodgrass) and Eli Beckham; her parents, Timothy and Sharon Wilkins; brothers Justin Wilkins and Aaron Wilkins, a niece Josie Badgley, along with a host of loving family and relatives. As we mourn the loss of Tamara, we find comfort in the Scripture: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4). We remember her as a woman of faith, a true pillar of the family, and a source of love and support in our community.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 5-7:00pm at Christ's Church of Oronogo. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 10:00 am at the same venue with Mark Christian officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Carl Junction Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the personal care and guidance of Simpson Funeral Home.
