Bob Arnce

Robert Lloyd ‘Bob’ Arnce, age 68, Joplin, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 with his family at his side.

Bob was born April 4, 1951 in Webb City, Missouri to the late Charles Clifford Arnce and Marie Pierce Arnce and had lived in the Joplin area all of his life.

Bob graduated from Joplin High School in 1969. He worked for Bagcraft Papercon as a supervisor for 42 years, retiring in 2016.

Bob served in the Army National Guard of Kansas. He was a member of Joplin Lodge #335, AF & AM and the Joplin Shrine Club. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He had a kind heart and a smile that could light up the room. He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Twenty-five years ago, Bob married the love of his life, Linda Holder Arnce, on February 10, 1995. She survives at the home.








Additional survivors include his children, Kimberly Thomason and husband, Eric, Justin Brookshire, Mallory Allison and husband, Dylan, Christy Roberts and husband, Barry; grandchildren, Zachery, Jordan, Ayla, Ellis and Laurel; four great grandchildren; siblings, Don Arnce and wife, Pat, Charlie Arnce and wife, Ellen, Jennifer Gaddis; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Thornhill-Dillion Mortuary Chapel.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Ayla Educational Fund, in care of Parker Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
