Gary Fetters

Steven William Fetters, age 69, Webb City, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital.

Steven was born October 5, 1950 in Portland, Indiana, son of the late Martin Daniel Fetters and Laura Mae Selvey Fetters. He graduated from Edgewood High School in West Covina, California.

He served in the United States Army, and then moved to the Joplin area in 1972. He worked as a manager for Pronto Convenience Stores, and then with Anderson Wholesale for several years before retiring in 2012 from Petro in Joplin. He loved spending time with his family, and fishing with family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Bryan Fetters (Kristine Stone) of Joplin; daughter, Kayla Fetters of Carthage; mother of his children, Debbie Fetters of Joplin; grandchildren, Jaxon Daniel Fetters, Douglas Dakota Stone, and Troy River Rush; brothers, Gary Fetters (Chris) of Oregon, Glenn Fetters (Chris) of California; sister, Dianne A. McKenzie (Rob) of California; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
