Sylvia Jane Nutting (Mackenzie), 63, Goodman, Missouri received her eternal reward March 06, 2020 at her home peacefully with her family by her side.
Sylvia was born February 03 1957 in Northhampton England to Charles and Victoria Mackenzie. Sylvia found joy in gardening, bird watching, sewing and making crafts. She spent her life serving others, especially children.
Her greatest accomplishments were all the many children she had in her home as she served the community as a foster parent. She carried their stories, heartbreak and their triumphs with her. She loved each of them as her own. She earned the Sarah Jane Snow Award in 2016 for her contributions to social services.
Survivors include Amber Foster and her children Rosie, Patrick, Mariana, Abagail, Dunia and Gabriel Foster, Shasta and Eran Schoellhorn and their children Lydia and Cora Schoellhorn, Jake and Ashley Hurley and their children Kyler and Karsen Hurley, Candance Nutting and her child Wynter Lohen, Hailey Nutting and her child Grayson Nutting.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Seneca Church of Christ with Jake King officiating. Burial will be in the Regan Cemetery with Travis Holmes, Jacob Hurley, Jeremiah Wilson, Trent Wilson Junior Tariek and Landen Hensley serving as pallbearers. Arrangements under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
