(From Knell Mortuary)Sheryl Weaver, 78, Joplin, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 30, 202, at her home. She was born on September 29, 1943, in Crane, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joe F. Williams and Mary Maxine (Willis) Williams.
Sheryl graduated from Carthage High School, and then attended Joplin Junior College, and East Texas Baptist College.
She married Marvin Weaver Jr. on February 28, 1964, in Lamar, Missouri, he preceded her in death on July 17, 1999.
Sheryl was a sales associate for Famous Barr, a member of Waples United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, a member of the Lydia Group, a charter member of Texoma and Denison Lioness clubs, receiving the Governor’s award, and was a past president of the Denison Lioness Club.
Sheryl is survived by her son Joe Weaver (Dinah), Denison, Texas. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shannon Williams.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday November 3, 2021, at the Liberal City Cemetery, Liberal, Missouri. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortury.com. Arrangements are under the personal care of Knell Mortuary.
