Jim Williams

(From White Funeral Home)

James “Jim” Dean Williams, age 74, of Belton, Missouri, formerly of the Mano region, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Belton Regional Hospital in Belton, Missouri.

Son of John Mason and Clydia (Berry) Williams, Jim was born on August 31, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, one of fourteen children. Jim graduated high school in 1967. After high school, Jim would go on to serve our nation proudly in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War, from 1967-1971.

A truck driver by trade, but a Christian above all. On August 1, 1998, in Eagle Rock, Missouri, Jim was united in holy matrimony to Korbie Rowe Hamilton, and together they would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ for more than 25 years.

Jim obtained a degree and ministry credentials through the esteemed Rhema Bible College and graduated May of 2008. As day center managers for Heart & Hand Ministries in Belton, Missouri, Jim and Korbie served homeless and low-income families across the region.

Jim enjoyed the outdoors, never missing an opportunity to go hunting or fishing in his spare time. However, nothing brought him more joy than his family and sharing his faith with others. Jim was a dear Christian man, beloved by many, and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, Korbie Williams, Jim is survived by three sons, John Williams of Witchita, Kansas, Daniel Williams, and his wife Lee, of Carthage, Missouri, and James Dean Williams, and his wife Nicole, of Sarcoxie, Missouri; two daughters, Angel Williams, and her husband Gary, of Raymore, Missouri, and Brandy Wilson, and her husband Benjamin, of Sedalia, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Judy Smith, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, John and Clydia (Berry) Williams.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at White Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri, with Pastor David Donaldson officiating. Burial to follow at the Rocky Comfort Cemetery.
