(From Ozark Funeral Home)Myrtle Gean Mensch, 66 years old, of Pineville, Missouri passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Gean was born on January 1, 1959 in Bentonville, Arkansas to the late Daniel Lee and Mary Gean (Morrison) Mensch. She worked for Cobb Vantress in Pineville, Missouri for over 30 years in research and development. She enjoyed camping, music and reading. Gean cherished time spent with family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Gean was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Emily Roe.
She is survived by her three brothers, David Mensch (Charity Sarvey), Carl Mensch, Delbert Roe; a sister, Yvonna Stephens (Dewayne) all of Powell, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Wayne and Vickie Blevins, Thomas and Vicky Schlessman, James and Amanda Hall; great nieces and nephews, Colton, Dakota and Jordan Schlessman, Justice and Aubrey Blevins, Landen, Ethan and Newt Hall, Copen Thomas, Sharell Brown; as well as a host of family and friends who will dearly miss Gean.
Graveside Funeral service for Gean will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Simsberry Cemetery near Powell, Missouri. Brother Billy Joe Gentry will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
