(From Parker Mortuary)Greggory Palmer Hayes, age 70 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Gregg was born November 5, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas to the late James P. and Anna Mae (Schultz) Hayes.
Greg was three when his family moved to Joplin, MO, and grew up in an extended neighborhood of families on East 3rd Street. He attended East Junior High and graduated from Memorial High School with the class of 1972. He worked in Phoenix, AZ, the San Francisco Bay area, and Alaska during his young adulthood, and resided in Joplin until his passing.
Greg is survived by a brother, Stephen Hayes (Gloria) of Mill Valley, California; sisters, Renee Grassino (Bob) of Shell Knob, Missouri and Christi Caviglia (Lou) of Santa Cruz, California; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
No services are planned at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri
