Bella Coleman

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Annabella Coleman, 80, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on August 7, 2025.

Born on August 13, 1944, in Casa Grande, Arizona, Bella was the daughter of Homer and Edna (Snow) Ridgway. She married the love of her life, David Coleman, who preceded her in death in 1999.

Bella was a woman of deep faith and a faithful member of the Upper Room Church in Neosho, Missouri. She was a member of the beloved Granny Chicks and the DLC Singers, later known as the Praisemakers. Saturday nights often found her performing at hootenannies, where she was widely known and cherished for her musical talents. A gifted musician, Bella could play many instruments and was especially known for her beautiful piano playing.

Her passions extended beyond music — she loved reading, was an avid gardener, crafty in many ways, and had a special fondness for her cats.

Bella is survived by her son, David Coleman II and wife Misty of Bakersville, North Carolina; daughter-in-law Jonae Coleman of Seneca, Missouri; sister Jane Blanchard of Joplin, Missouri; eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband David, and her son Aaron Coleman.

An open viewing will take place on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 28, 2025 in Neosho, MO.

Bella’s legacy of music, faith, and love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
