(From Lockwood Funeral Chapel)Olga A. Eggerman, of Lockwood, Missouri, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at age 97. She was born on February 6, 1928, near Prairie City, Missouri to Ernst & Bertha (Ruehling) Fleischer. Olga was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City.
She graduated from Rockville High School in 1945. On September 23, 1950, she married Cleo Eggerman of Lockwood at Zion Lutheran Church, Prairie City.
Olga was a homemaker and farm wife for 75 years in Dade County. She assisted Cleo in the Pioneer Seed business for almost 50 years. Olga was a member of Lockwood Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League; she embroidered a small cross on over 200 Baptismal napkins. She was an avid gardener and was known for her cinnamon rolls, party mix, homemade applesauce, Easter basket animal cookies, and hosting the entire family gathering every Christmas Eve. She made tatted ornaments and cross bookmarks by the dozens for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, three brothers, and her husband Cleo.
She is survived by her five children: Leland and Linda Eggerman, Leslie and Jean Eggerman, Loren and Robin Eggerman, Anita and Steve Allison, and Tim and Lori Eggerman. Her grandchildren include: Lesha Muncy and husband David, Linse Hawks and husband Dan, Amy Schnelle and husband Merle, Lee Eggerman and wife Kara, Chris Eggerman, Kevin Eggerman and wife Erin, Ashley Monday and husband Ryan, Marc Allison and wife Megan, Matt Eggerman and wife Erica, Katie Blount and husband Lucas, Eric Allison and wife Kirsten, Brittany Allison, Landon Eggerman and wife Erin, Joseph Eggerman and wife Dreama, and Thomas Eggerman and wife Brooke. Great-grandchildren are: Madeline Burk, Wyatt, Emelia and Anna Hawks, Lucas, Addison, Gage and Gavin Eggerman, Boone and Wade Eggerman, Charlotte and Theodore Blount, Maria and Clara Schnelle, Ethan and Kayla Monday, Owen and Olivia Eggerman, Pace, Camden and Coyer Allison, Brooks and Beckett Allison, Callen Burns, Tatum and Rhett Eggerman and Eleanor and Lydia Eggerman. Great-step grandchildren: Zane, Aiden, and Sydney Blackburn, Nathan, Noah, and Noelle Schnelle.
Visitation will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lockwood, on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 6-8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
