She was born in Joplin, Missouri on February 2, 1942 to William Dale Wray and Pauline (Waughtal) Wray.
She was a member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.
She was an accomplished pianist having been the pianist for First Baptist Church of Joplin for 18 years. She also accompanied the Missouri Southern Choral Society for 13 years.
She loved all things French especially Paris which she visited twice. She was also quite a sports fanatic. You could always catch her watching Golf and Tennis. Tiger Woods and Rafa Nadal were her favorites. She was also a big fan of Johnny Mathis and went to many of his concerts. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading cookbooks.
She married the love of her life Roger Stinnett on November 30, 1963. They fell in love when they were just 14 years old, and had been together ever since.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Stinnett and her two children, Kevin Stinnett (Deena) of Joplin and Kerry Stinnett Farran (Buddy) of Joplin; three grandchildren who she adored, Michael Farran, Ian Stinnett, and Lauren Stinnett. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Arterburn
She was the best Mom in the whole world.

The family will receive friends at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Joplin on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, Augusts 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Ryan Williams officiating. Her Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions are requested to be made to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church or the Joplin Humane Society.
