Dana Lee

Dana N. Lee, age 61, Carl Junction, passed away at 1:17 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital.

Dana was born December 2, 1956 in Joplin to the late O.D. Armstrong and Gladys E. Adams Armstrong and had lived in Joplin most of her life.

She worked as a sales clerk at Wal-Mart and Montgomery Ward for over ten years. She then worked as a job coach and developer at College View State School for several years. Dana operated a licensed medical foster home and served as an Impact volunteer for twenty years. She also volunteered for the Region V Council and was named Advocate of the Year in 1999. Dana was a faithful member of Faith Assembly. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her three sons, James J. Lee, Webb City, Xavior Lee and Alex Lee, both of Carl Junction; siblings, Davette Armstrong, Springfield, Robert Armstrong, Carl Junction, Bill Armstrong, Joplin, Tony Armstrong, Salem, Oregon; and several other extended family members.

Services are planned for Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Assembly. Grant Curtis and Larry Griffin will officiate. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
