(From Simpson Funeral Home)Dale Johnson age 90, of Oronogo, Missouri passed away on July 5, 2021 at National Health Care in Joplin. He was born in Powell, Missouri on February 7, 1931 to Otis Johnson and Mayme (Bell) Johnson.
Dale proudly served in the United States Army as a Sergeant in the Korean War, and then finished his time in the Army Reserves. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, loving to crappie fish, and hunt turkey and deer.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife Gervais (Jerry) Johnson in 2006.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Johnson and significant other Dennis Miller; and 2 grandchildren, Garrett Cleaver and Ashley Cleaver.
Dale’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be a memorial visitation on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. The family will have a private committal service in Nashville Cemetery.
