Tommy Joe Smith of Commerce, OK passed from this life Thursday, July 8, 2021 at his home. He was 68.

Tommy was born February 25, 1953 in Kellogg, ID to Albert and Vella (Redden) Smith. He had lived in Commerce for the past 50 years. Tommy was a forklift operator for Hopkins Manufacturing in Miami, OK and had worked as a welder for Wood-Aire-Fireplace in North Miami and Joplin. He was a member of the United in Christ Church in Quapaw, OK.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brother, Albert Smith and Melvin “Bo” Smith and 1 sister, Barbara Johnson.

Survivors include his wife Jacqueline “Jackie” (Holloway) Smith of the home, 2 sons, Tommy Joe Smith, II and wife Hailey of Miami, OK and Jason Smith and wife Kristnee of Commerce, OK, 1 sister, Jerry Boyce of Commerce, OK, 5 grandchildren Logan Smith, Samantha Smith, Damiyah Smith, Racen Smith and Maggie Smith and 1 great grandchild Remy Smith.
