(From Ozark Funeral Home)Etta M Pierson, 62 loving wife, mother and nana, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 surrounded by her family at home.
Etta was born October 6, 1958 in Syracuse, NY to Robert and Geraldine (Bush) Kew. She was a long time resident of the Southwest Missouri area, residing in Carthage for over 20 years and retiring in Anderson Missouri, fall of 2010.
Etta worked in nursing for most of her career and enjoyed caring for others. Etta also had a love for animals, especially horses, bargain shopping and also absolutely loved spending time with her family, especially her Grandbabies.
Etta married her best friend and soul mate, Terence Z. Pierson, November 29, 1985 in Joplin Missouri, he survives.
Etta is also survived by two children, Katie Cyr (husband Michael), of Carthage, MO and Donavon Pierson (wife Sara), of Anderson, MO, one sister, Robin Langholff (husband Steve) of Carl Junction, MO, two brothers, Michael Kew (wife Linda) of Carthage, MO, and James Anderson (wife Sylvia) of Lebanon, VA, five Grandchildren, Katelyn Cyr, Kaleigh Wilson (husband Chad), James Pierson, Lilly Pierson and Reece Pierson, and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents and one nephew.
Private services and burial will be held at the Anderson Cemetery, Anderson MO.
