Jerry Lee Hotsenpillar, age 63, of Wheaton, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, after a battle with cancer. Mr. Hotsenpillar, son of Jack and Patricia (Rausch) Hotsenpillar, was born on June 5, 1958, in Truckee, California.

On June 6, 1987, he was united in marriage to Wanda Vrbka in Lincoln, Nebraska; this was the day after Jerry’s birthday so he would always remember this special day.

Jerry grew up in Nebraska City, Nebraska, graduating in 1977. He and Wanda moved to Greenville, Texas in 1987 and later moved to Wheaton, Missouri, in 1993 to make their forever home. Jerry worked with his dad as a sub-contractor in the telephone business.

In 2004 he started working for CenturyLink where he loved talking to his customers, making many lasting friendships that became like family; he retired in 2018 due to health issues.

Jerry enjoyed camping, flashlights, going to auctions, and loved his dog, Rebel. His pride and joy were his daughter and granddaughters who he loved dearly and meant the world to him. Jerry was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Hotsenpillar, of Wheaton; his daughter, Katie Davidson and her husband Craig, of Stella; his three precious granddaughters, Emma, Kaylynn, and Hadlee; three brothers, Jeff Hotsenpillar and his wife Theresa, and Mark Hotsenpillar and his wife Phyllis, all of Nebraska City, Nebraska, and Chris Hotsenpillar and his wife Lisa, of Lincoln, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Hotsenpillar.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Wheaton Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Wahlert officiating; burial to follow at Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6th at the church.
