Goldie Hatfield

Goldie Mae Hatfield was born April 6, 1940, in Noel, Missouri, one of seven children to Dorse and Myrtle E. (Risingfawn) Moore. She entered into rest on March 7, 2022, at the Solace Hospice House in Joplin at the age of eighty-one. 

Goldie graduated from Noel High School and was a lifelong area resident. She worked as a CNA at Beverly Healthcare and for Oxford Home Health care, drove the OATS Bus for many years and worked with her husband, Jim on the family farm. She enjoyed music and singing, attending Neosho Area Widow to Widow events and she especially enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the Sheep Shed Church. 

Goldie and Jim Hatfield were married on November 14, 1959, in Noel, Missouri and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2007. 

She is survived by three sons, Richard Mark (Lacrinza Bankston) Hatfield of Neosho, Ronald Ray (Carol) Hatfield of Carl Junction and Brian Hatfield of Granby; one sister, Margie Roughton of Harrison, Arkansas, one brother, Bobby Moore of South Bend, Washington; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a special friend, Dodie Reeves of Neosho. 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Hatfield, granddaughter, Kassie Schenck, three brothers, Billie, James and Ivan Moore and a sister, Sue Tibbs. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the King Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Monday prior to the service from 1 pm until service time.
