(From Ozark Funeral Home)Nathan Dale Stephens, 80, of Noel, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at his residence, with his loving family by his side.
He entered this life on May 8, 1941 in Powell, Missouri, born to the late, Lewis and Cora (Riter) Stephens. Dale worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nelda (Dowdy) Stephens; Brother, Bill Stephens, brother-in-law, Bill Winkler.
He is survived by his children, Kenny Stephens (Brenda) of Lanagan, Missouri, Tammi Wardlaw (Alan) of Noel, Missouri; siblings, Ann Winkler of Liberty, Missouri, Jane Cooper of Anderson, Missouri, Gerald Stephens of Ketchum, Oklahoma, Rick Stephens (Rita) of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, Loren Stephens of Alabama; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Nathan.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 in the Union Cemetery in Stella, Missouri. Pastor Melvin Anders will officiate.
