(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Stephen L. Winans, 63, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in Carthage, Missouri. Stephen was born April 20, 1958 in Aurora, Missouri to Edward Winans and Marie Trenary. Stephen was a longtime resident of Carthage, Missouri. He worked at Leggett and Platt as a fork lift operator.
Stephen is survived by three sons, Daniel Winans of Carthage, Missouri, Stephen Winans of Carthage, Missouri, and Malcolm Robertson of Carthage, Missouri; two grandchildren, Stephen Winans of Columbia, Missouri and Carletta Winans of Carthage, Missouri; two sisters, Dianne Sommerfield of Carthage, Missouri and Jeanette Ogle of Oronogo, Missouri; and his father, Edward Winans of Carthage, Missouri.
Stephen is preceded in death by his mother, Marie “Trenary” Anderson and his brother, Stanley Allen Winans.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri.
