(From White Funeral Home)William Don Ramsey, Sr., age 75, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
The son of John and Sylvia (Kennell) Ramsey, Don was born on May 6, 1947, in Joplin, Missouri. He graduated from Joplin High School in 1965.
On September 10, 1987, he married the love of his life Shirley Douglas in Morrisburg, Tennessee. Don enjoyed NASCAR racing, watching westerns, was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, and loved his dogs. He was a fifty-year member of the Joplin and Sarcoxie Masonic Lodge and attended the Forest Park Church in Joplin. Don was a loving man who will be missed by so many.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ramsey, of Seligman; two sons, Chris Ramsey and William “Willy” Ramsey, Jr., and his wife Cynthia, all of Joplin; two daughters, Madonna McUrado, of Joplin, and Traci LLueria, of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicklause Ramsey in July 2019.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the Jasper School Cemetery, in Reeds, Missouri, with Pastor John Hile officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
