Nancy Beeler

Nancy Aloyce Beeler was born in Joplin, Missouri on January 20, 1938, to Dorothy and Al Johns. She graduated from Joplin High School in 1955 and attended Lindenwood College and the University of Arkansas.

Music was a prominent part of her life studying piano at the age of five and later voice and viola. She played viola in the Joplin symphony during high school and attended the University of Arkansas on a music scholarship while majoring in business.

In 1960 Nancy married Bob Beeler, an Annapolis graduate and Navy carrier pilot. They lived in San Diego before moving to Kansas City in 1963. She was active in church attending Christ Episcopal Church and later St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

Her greatest loves were her husband of 62 years, Bob; two sons, their spouses, five grandchildren and two (soon to be three) great grandchildren.

Nancy leaves behind her loving husband Bob; Steve (Michelle) Beeler and their three children; Michael (Ericka) Beeler, Phillip and Daniel; Mark (Janette) Beeler and their two children; Cameron and Claire.
She adored her two great grandchildren Audrey and Tristan and was overjoyed at the news of a third great grandchild due this December, proud parents Michael and Ericka.

Donations may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, 12251 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas 66213.
