(From Weng Funeral Chapel)Edward “Mr. Ed” Walter Welch, 61 formerly of Jasper, Missouri passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Butler, Missouri. He was born on November 29, 1960 in San Bernardino, California to Herbert and Jo Ann (Beeks) Welch.
Ed was a lifelong trucker to the core, even when his health no longer allowed him to drive.
In addition to trucking his other passion in life was his family, his children and grandchildren. They were his absolute pride and joy and he never missed an opportunity to tell others all the cool things they were doing.
Ed wasn’t always the easiest to get along with. He had thoughts on most topics and wasn’t afraid to voice his thoughts and opinions. To know him was to love him. He loved strongly and fiercely and protected those he loved strongly and fiercely. He was always there whenever needed in any way he could help. A true friend no matter the circumstances.
