(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Michelle Dawn (Wilkinson) Gass, age 57 of South Greenfield, MO, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loved ones and beloved dog, Tippy-girl.
Michelle was born on September 10, 1967 in Barton County, MO, daughter of Jerry and Thelma (Simmons) Wilkinson. She enjoyed numerous years of Social Work at the Dade County Nursing Home, home health nurse, and other medical related positions throughout her working career. During this time Michelle made an impact on many people’s lives. She loved helping people and establishing a connection with her patients and their families that went above and beyond the job.
She is preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, Granny Bill (Lillian) and Virgil Thomas Simmons; paternal grandparents, Grandma Inez and George Wilkinson; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Michelle is survived by daughter, Mandi Seela and her husband Ryan; son, Fulton Gass; son, Timothy Gass and his wife Amber; two granddaughters, Briley and Baylea Seela; two sisters, Candi Alexander and husband Mike, and Leah Loonsfoot and husband Travis; lifelong best friend, Sis Tracy Feasel; two nieces, Lillian and Ellee Loonsfoot; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral chapel. Private family inurnment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
