Helen Loudene Pollock, age 85, Joplin, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital.
Helen was born June 21, 1934 in Butterfield, Missouri, daughter of the late Herbert Prier and Bernice Purdom Prier. Helen graduated from Cassville High School, and worked as an operator with Southwestern Bell from 1952 until retiring in 1984. She was a member of Newman Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wayne Pollock, who passed away on December 24, 1998.
Survivors include her sisters, Peggy Bennett of Purdy, Missouri, and Becca Farris (Chris) of Joplin; nephews, James Lyall (Barbara) of Littleton, Colorado, Matt Roush (Mitch) of Dallas, Texas, Doug Roush of Webb City, Missouri, Greg Bennett, Tom Bennett, and Donnie Bennett (Jackie) all of Purdy; niece, Pam Bohn (Tony) of California; several great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Butterfield, Missouri with Eddie Bowman officiating.
The family will receive friends at Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary on Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
