Kimberly Elaine Nicholas, 57, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at her home after a sudden illness.
Kimberly entered this life on Monday, December 10, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born to Bob and Nancy (Greene) Robertson. She was raised in McDonald County.
On June 2, 2011 she was united in marriage to Dwayne Nicholas and together they have shared the last eight years. Kim was a self-employed wood-working artisan designing and making furniture and home decor. She owned and operated Pine Designs and Kimberly’s Custom Creations.
In addition to wood-crafting, Kim used her cooking skills to open Papa Dwayne’s Cafe located in Neosho, Missouri. In her spare time she loved going fishing, gardening, and spent the last few years staying home to raise her 3 young children. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Robertson and son, Robert Nunley, Jr..
Kimberly is survived by her mother, Nancy Robertson; husband, Dwayne Nicholas; sons Jake (Jennifer) Nunley of Pea Ridge, AR; Travis (Kendra) Nunley of Neosho, MO, Carson, Clayton and Caleb Nicholas of Anderson, MO, Jason and Matthew Nicholas of Pineville, MO; daughters Alison Kell of Maryland Heights, MO, Desa Cooper of Anderson, MO; and fourteen grandchildren; three brothers Jim (Kristi) Robertson of Admore, OK, Les (Shannon) Robertson of Goodman, MO and Brian Robertson of Joplin, MO; one sister Donna Howard of Anderson, MO; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss her.
Visitation for Kimberly will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
