Pamela Christine (Woods) Griffberg, age 68, passed away at her home Monday, March 2, 2020 following an illness.
Pamela was born December 5, 1951 in Joplin, MO. Her parents were Samuel Leon and Lois Annette (Mason) Woods. She was raised in Galena, KS and attended school with the Galena Class of 1969.
She had lived in Carl Junction since 1979 moving from Bentonville, AR. She was a cosmetologist and owned and operated Kustom Kutters Beauty Salon for several years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Carl Junction, MO. One of her pastimes was Clog dancing.
Pamela was married to Danny Dale Griffberg on November 30, 1968 in Galena, KS. He survives.
Additional survivors include one son, Dustin Griffberg (wife, Michele), Carl Junction; one daughter Kimberly Wilson (husband, Paul), Neosho. MO; 5 grandchildren, Colten Griffberg (fiancé, Bailey Hensley, Carl Junction, Hunter Asbell, Neosho, Kyler Griffberg, Carl Junction, Kaden Griffberg, Carl Junction, and Chase Griffberg, Carl Junction; one great-granddaughter, Everleigh Grace Griffberg; her brother-in-law, Don Robertson, Joplin; a special niece April Thomas, Kansas, OK; nephew, Kenny Robertson, Carl Junction, and niece Tammy Robertson, Joplin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Cheryl Robertson, and one granddaughter, Karlie Dawn Asbell.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home Galena KS for cremation.
The family will celebrate her life at a memorial service at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the Church of the Nazarene, 206 N Main St, Carl Junction, MO. Rev Claire Uitts and Pastor Jason Powers will officiate.
