Jim Adams

James L. (Jim) Adams, 58, lifelong Seneca resident passed away November 18, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin after a sudden illness.

James Leonard Adams was born August 18, 1962 in Fort Knox, KY the son of Loyd and Bernice (Hoff) Adams. Jim served his country in the Army of the United States. He graduated from Seneca High School. 

Jim retired from LA-Z-Boy Midwest in Neosho, MO in 2007. He then went to work for Ruan where he drove a truck. For the last three years he has driven for J.B. Hunt. Jim loved fishing, hunting and watching Seneca football. Jim was of the Catholic faith and a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seneca.








Survivors include his wife Kathy Adams, Seneca; one brother, Steven Adams and wife Brenda, Seneca; one sister Mary Ann Nutting and Doug, Afton, OK; one step-grandchild and a host of extended family and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Bernice Adams and one brother John Adams.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

A celebration of life memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, December 1, 2020 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
