(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Shirley A. Whitwell, age 85, passed away on September 3, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.
Shirley was born on June 26, 1940 in Quapaw, OK to her parents Clarence and Edith (Case) Bacon. She was married to her husband Billy Whitwell on April 7, 1965 in Joplin, MO and to their union they had one son, Mark Whitwell.
Shirely is preceded by her son, Mark Whitwell and parents, Clarence and Edith Bacon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Whitwell, one brother, Gary Bacon and his wife Shirley, one sister Faye Robertson, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, September 8, 2025 with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 9:00am at Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Warren’s Branch Baptist Church in Seneca, MO.
