(From White Funeral Home)Thearse Merritt, age 49, of Fairview, Missouri, passed away on September 2, 2025, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on February 25, 1976, in Springfield, Missouri, to Freddie and Pamela (Honeycutt) Jensen.
Thearse had a fun-loving spirit and enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and floating. She also loved relaxing with her favorite vampire shows and, most of all, cherished every moment with her grandbabies.
She is survived by her two daughters, Courtney Wilson and her husband Brandon of Fairview, and Bryanna Merritt of Fairview; her parents, Freddie and Pamela Jensen; one brother, Freddie Jensen II of Marionville, Missouri; and one sister, Charity “Dawn” Jensen of Marionville, Missouri.
Thearse was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Harper Wilson, and her nephew, Thomas Israel.
Her memory will be forever treasured by her family and friends who loved her deeply.
Memorials may be made to the family and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
