(From Clark Funeral Home)Elisabeth 'Betty' R. Warkentien was born on October 18, 1927, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of George E. and Alice K. Carroll Lund. She entered into rest on April 30, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 98.
Betty moved to the Anderson, Missouri area in June 1974, from Rockford, Illinois. She worked at Hudson Foods for many years as a line worker until her retirement.
Betty and Lloyd Warkentien were married on May 2, 1945, and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1986.
She is survived by a son, Lewis Warkentien of Anderson, Missouri and grandchildren, Nisa Johnson, Luke Tripodi, Peter Tripodi, Matthew Tripodi and Scotty Fann.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Tripodi Fann on December 9, 1991, and two brothers.
