Robert Gray

(From White Funeral Home)

At 88 years of age, Robert Frank Gray, a long‑time and faithful member of the Monett, Missouri Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, fell asleep in death on April 30, 2026. His unwavering confidence in Jehovah’s promise of a resurrection and a peaceful earthly paradise sustained him throughout his life.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Gwen Gray, of Monett, Missouri. They were married for 66 years, a lifetime marked by loyalty, tenderness, and shared faith.

Robert’s greatest joy was preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom. Whether in the ministry or in everyday conversations, he eagerly shared the comforting truths he learned from the Bible. Everyone who knew him felt his warmth, sincerity, and genuine love for people. He was known for his simple but powerful reminder: “Listen, obey, and be blessed.” And that is exactly how he lived.

Robert would want everyone reading this to know about the real hope the Bible offers — a hope that brings comfort to millions today. He often shared scriptures that explain:

- That the dead are “asleep,” resting safely in Jehovah’s memory (John 11:11)
- That Jehovah promises to bring them back through a resurrection (John 5:28, 29)
- That soon, “death will be no more” and the earth will be restored to paradise conditions (Revelation 21:3, 4)
- That God’s Kingdom is the solution to all human suffering (Matthew 6:10)

These promises, highlighted on JW.org, were the anchor of Robert’s faith — and they remain a source of comfort for all who look to Jehovah for strength during times of loss.

Robert lived with the quiet confidence that he would one day awaken to a world filled with peace, health, and joy. Until that day, he rests in Jehovah’s loving memory, awaiting the moment when Jesus calls and “all those in the memorial tombs” come out to live again on a paradise earth.

He will be deeply missed — but never forgotten

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
