(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Martha Josephine Pirnie, age 77, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 10:26 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center. She was born October 1, 1948, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of the late Judson Henry and Josephine Hester (Mericle) DeBow Jr.
Martha was a 1966 graduate of St. Petersburgh High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. She worked in the laundry department at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center and was a member of Phillips Global Methodist Church, in Phillips, Nebraska.
Matha is survived by one daughter, Christine Dillion and her husband, Jerry, of Aurora, Missouri; one son, Michael Phillips and his wife, Christy Inman, of Marionville, Missouri; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
