Frank Reynolds

Frank J. Reynolds, Sr., age 94 of Joplin, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his home following an extended illness.

Frank was born February 22, 1922 in Swain, Arkansas to the late Joseph Walter Reynolds and Viola Martin Reynolds. After graduating from high school, Frank served his country in the United States Army. Frank was of the Christian faith, attending several churches throughout the area with many of his closest friends.

In 1949, Frank married Virginia Irene Russow in Gravette, Arkansas. She preceded him in death in 1988. Additionally, three of their sons have preceded them in death as well, Frank 'Jim' Reynolds, Greg Reynolds and Richard Reynolds; brothers, Howard and Burt Reynolds; one sister, Thelma Reynolds.

Surviving Frank is a son, Steve Reynolds and wife, Diane of Joplin; grandchildren, Jimmy, Michelle, Brian and Jason and 10 great-grandchildren, plus several extended family and friends.

Funeral services are planned for Monday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary with burial to follow at the Carl Junction Cemetery.
