(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mrs. Stormy Drucilla Block, 32, of Carthage, Missouri passed away Saturday, July, 24, 2021 in the comfort of her home after a sudden illness.
Stormy was born on August 24, 1988 in Joplin, Missouri.
On June 23, 2007, she was united in marriage to Timothy Lee Block at Crossroads Baptist Church. Together they shared fourteen blessed years.
Stormy was a very devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and granddaughter and loved her family dearly. She was a lady of many talents and loved quilting and singing in the church choir. She was very involved with her church, Crossroads Baptist Church. She especially loved her junior church kids and keeping the nursery. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Stormy is survived by her husband, Timothy, of the home; her children, Renea Block and Levi Block, of the home; her parents, Skip and Tracy Bailey, of Webb City and Billy and Diane Dalton, of Carthage; siblings, Katlyn Baugh and husband, Dan, of Carthage, Elizabeth Baugh and husband, Ty, of Jasper and Manny Bailey, of Carthage; grandparents, Bill and Nita Dalton, of Carterville, and Louise Bailey, of Webb City; father-in-law, Clifford Block, of Carthage; nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Stormy are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Morgan officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Cory Heinz, Dan Baugh, Ty Baugh, Taylor Six and Wayne Nixon. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the church.
