(From Clark Funeral Home)Barbara A. Cupp, Diamond, Missouri, entered into rest in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on July 2, 2022, at the age of 81.
Barbara was born April 27, 1941, in Gravette, Arkansas, the daughter of Albert and Florence E. (Allen) Lewis. She graduated from Gravette High School and in 1967, she moved to the Newton County, Missouri area and later made her home in Diamond.
Barbara worked at Shank’s Farms and at Safeway Cheese, where she was fondly known as ‘Bill.’ She was an extraordinarily strong, determined, hardworking person and a devoted Mom and Grandma.
She loved playing bunco with her friends, but her greatest joy was supporting and participating in her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities. She and her husband, Harlan, took their grandchildren to Branson every summer to spend special time with them.
Bingo was a family tradition she thoroughly enjoyed. She attended Crosspoint Fellowship Church.
Barbara was united in marriage to Harlan Cupp, who preceded her in death on April 2, 2006.
She is survived by six children, Jo Morgan and husband, Wayne, Hollis Cupp and wife, Diane, Margaret Duquette and husband, Terry, Trish Greenwood and husband, Kent, David Cupp and wife, Elena and Steve Cupp and wife, Carol: fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by grandson, Travis Duquette.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 7th at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Diamond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
