Todd Ruple

Todd Elijah Ruple, age 4, of Joplin, ran into the arms of Jesus on July 7, 2022 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

Little Todd was born on January 31, 2018, in Fredrick, Maryland to Nick Ruple and Alisha (Sanny) Ruple. 

During his short time here on earth, Todd lived a life full of energy, laughter, and excitement. He loved to play outdoors as little boys do, often with his battle ax swords, as well as with playing with trucks, Legos, and animals. 

He enjoyed being with his siblings and having adventures with them. He liked to read, especially his Richard Scarry books. His big blue eyes and his smile will be missed by all who loved Todd.

Survivors include his parents, Nick Ruple and Alisha (Sanny) Ruple; siblings, Livy Ruple, Max Ruple, Sam Ruple, and Claire Ruple, all of the home; paternal grandparents, Charles and Sunnie Ruple, and great grandmother, Sue Briley, all of Vilonia, AR; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Sharon Sanny, of Bedford, IA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

 

Celebration services for Todd will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at College Heights Christian Church in Joplin with private family burial to take place at the Mayfield Cemetery in Goodman, MO at a later date. Alisha (Sanny) Ruple and family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, July 14th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Parker Mortuary in Joplin. Nick Ruple and family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, July 15th beginning at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Parker Mortuary in Joplin.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
