(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Patricia Palmer Smith of Miami, OK passed from this life Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, OK. She was 90.
Patricia was born September 19, 1934 in Yukon, OK to Ralph J. and Helen (Gramkow) Palmer. She had lived in the Picher and Miami area most of her life. She had worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for the Inter-Tribal Council, City Clerk’s assistant for the City of Picher and for Commerce Police Department as a clerical assistant. Patricia was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, OK.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Charles Grant Smith, her parents, 2 brothers, Gordon Palmer and Jimmy Palmer and 1 sister, Maxine Atkinson.
Survivors include 2 sons, Nick Koronis and wife Teresa of Miami, OK and Tony Koronis and wife Jessica of Quapaw, OK. 1 daughter, Stephanie Botts and husband Jerry of Carl Junction, MO, 1 sister, Eileen Walker of Tulsa, OK, 5 grandchildren, Samantha Koronis, Tara Stoner and husband Ellis, Nick Koronis and wife Tiffany, Laura McCullen and husband Joel and Katie Twa and husband Neil and 16 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Miami, OK. Pastor Dwight Moeller will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. Friday before the service at the church.
