Lisa Ann Mills, age 56, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 12:29 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at her home. She was born August 5, 1963, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Bud and Vernia Dean (Manuel) Bloomer.
Lisa was a 1981 graduate of Miller High School, in Miller, Missouri. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
On November 25, 2015, she married Kevin Mills in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Kevin; two daughters, Michelle Jones of Mt. Vernon and Tina Swayne and her husband, Matthew of Sarcoxie; one son, Jesse Jones of Joplin, Missouri; one stepson, Dylan Mills of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Carla Wright and her husband, Roger, of Springfield, Missouri and Rhonda Cook of Aurora, Missouri; one brother, J.R. Bloomer and his wife Christina, of Willard, Missouri; her dad, Bill Burnett, of Springfield; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Vernia and a sister, Teresa Clayton.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
