Patty Hardy

Patty D. Hardy, 92, Diamond, MO passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 12, 2020. She was born August 18, 1927 in Neosho, MO to George and Helena Montana (Green) Gibson. 

Patty was a lifelong resident of the Neosho and Diamond area. She worked many years as a banker for the Diamond Bank, retiring from there. Patty was a member of the Diamond Improvement Group and the Diamond First Baptist Church, where she participated in the Young At Heart and Silver Belles church groups. She loved to go to her grandchildren’s sporting events and to church. 

Patty and Haldean Hardy were married December 3, 1949 in Neosho, MO; he preceded her in death in 2007. 








She is survived by three children, Sharon Morris of Carthage, Larry Hardy and wife, Tasha of Carl Junction, and Craig Hardy and wife, Billie Jo of Diamond; five grandchildren, Amanda Terry, Bree Collins, Chelsea Conley, Chance Hardy, and Cort Hardy; four great grandchildren, Johnathan Terry, Jacob Terry, Gannon Collins, and Collyn Conley; and one great-great grandchild, Latham Terry. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, Patty was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Gibson and Matthew Gibson and one grandson, Colt Hardy.

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Diamond Cemetery, with Pastor Ron Crow officiating. Chance Hardy, Cort Hardy, Johnathan Terry, Jacob Terry, Nathan Terry, and Ryan Conley will serve as pallbearers.

SPECIAL NOTE: Mandates from CDC and the State of Missouri have strongly advised against organized gatherings in order to abide by social distancing protocols. 

Family and friends are welcome to the funeral home for viewing on Tuesday, April 14 from 9 am until 5 pm and Wednesday, April 15 from 9 am until 1 pm.
